When coming under attack, do not forget - you are a child of The Most High, He loves you, and the Word of God empowers you.
Dear Heavenly Father, as a born again, Spirit filled Christian, and child of God, washed in the Blood of Jesus - I come before You:
- Faithful Lord, strengthen and protect me and guard me from the evil one. (2 Thes 3:3)
- According to the power of God that works in me, (Eph 3:20)
- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)
- Lord deliver me from every evil work and preserve me (2 Tim 4:18)
- The Son of God came into the world to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)
- The thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
Therefore:
- I (Jesus) give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19)
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom 8:31)
